Aimée R. Thorne-Thomsen, MPA, (she/her/ella) is a long-time reproductive justice activist with more than 20 years’ experience in community organizing, communications, movement-building, and policy advocacy. She launched Guerrera Strategies to focus on building power with and for women and girls, communities of color, immigrants, LGBTQ+ people and young people. Prior to that, Aimée served as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships of Advocates for Youth, where she oversaw and coordinated the development, implementation and evaluation of Advocates' strategic partnerships with youth activists and organizations in allied social justice movements.
Aimée also served as Interim Executive Director of the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice and Executive Director of the Pro-Choice Public Education Project (PEP). She is Co-President of the Board for Collective Power for Reproductive Justice and Chair of the Board for Women’s Voices for the Earth. Previously, she served as the Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective. Aimée has spoken throughout the country in places like the National Abortion Federation Conference, the Women’s Convention, NOW National Conference, Netroots Nation, Center for American Progress and Facing Race, and her writings and blogs have appeared in Women's e-News, Daily Kos, Feministing, Feministe and Rewire, among others.
A proud daughter of the Puerto Rican diaspora, Aimée’s family migrated to New York as part of the Great Migration. Aimée received her Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies from Yale University and a Master of Public Administration from the City University of New York.

Lanzó Guerrera Strategies para enfocarse en construir poder con y para las mujeres y niñas, comunidades de color, inmigrantes, personas LGBTQ+ y jóvenes.
